The latest Express Entry Draw invited 1,548 candidates

In the recent Express Entry Draw, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited 1,548 Provincial Nominee Program candidates. There is a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 776.

The draw prior to this was on 10th October and invited 3,725 candidates in an all-program draw. The Candidates needed a minimum CRS of 500.

There is no medical examination required for Express Entry candidates 

There have been new rules introduced for the Medical applicants in the express entry on 1st October. As per the new rule, there is no need for an upfront immigrant medical examination (IME) before submitting a Canada PR visa application. 

There is still a need for examination, but the applicants need to submit a blank document in the upload field of the Express Entry profile builder. There are certain instructions regarding your medical exam later.

There are those who have completed an IME as part of a different IRCC application. However, they have already been living in Canada, so they don’t need a second IME.

Express Entry Draws in 2023

The Online Permanent Residency (PR) Status has made things convenient for applicants. They can apply for a Permanent Residency (PR) Status from anywhere and choose the best immigration service in the industry without worrying about their physical accessibility for the Candidate. What is Express Entry Program?

Express Entry program is the most convenient way to move to Canada for a skilled worker. It allows immigration in the fastest way possible with six to eight months of processing. The section of the applicants is points-based, and those who meet the minimum CRS score are given the ITAs. 

The three sub-categories under this program are - the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The applicant can apply through any of the three categories provided they meet the eligibility requirements.

The IRCC announced that it would conduct draws in certain specific categories to select applicants in occupations where there is a high demand for labour. These occupations are expected to strengthen the economy and promote the French language outside of Quebec.

 The six new categories which are in demand in 2023 are – 

• Healthcare;
• STEM professions;
• Trades;
• Transport; and
• Agriculture and agri-food
• French language abilities.
